This is the second time I had to return the monitor to the manifacturer.
I received the LCD monitor promptly from Amazon and I installed it with little problems (I have a dual boot Windows/Linux). My computer is always on, but I have screen-savers and power management kicking in. After one week of functioning seamlessly, it started to show lots of pink pixels all around the image and the background colours started to look fuzzy. I have had this monitor for just over a month. It is pretty good and I am very happy with it. I am not going to repeat how easy it is to install, after all it’s the age of ‘plug and play’ and installation shouldn’t be an issue anymore.
Positives: - Very good value for money. - Good screen resolution. - Display clarity and sharpness are very good. - Built in speakers although not brilliant, by definition, but adequate.

Rating: - Can't really fault it at the price
It's quite a big purchase so do go on and read all the reviews here. I agree with all of the comments about how easy it is to set up and how clear the display is.
Anyone concerned about not being able to get into the BIOS when you boot - just make sure the monitor is switched on just before the computer. Either that, or remember that 'F2' or 'F8' or whatever is the key to hammer when you start up.

Rating: - why didn't I buy one sooner
What can I say. For the money this is brilliant. I do a lot of multi tasking and graphics work and it is wonderfully clear and so much easier than on a 17". I have run DVDs on it and the quality is great. No duff pixels as mentioned in another review. Set up couldn't be more simple, just plug in. It is great to have a screen where the 1280 x 1024 resolution really works. On my 17" it made everything too small. Don't dilly dally, go for it!

Brought one for my own PC then my student son saw it and I ended up getting another. Setting up is simple, just plug and play, no faulty pixels. Only bad thing are the speakers that are very tinny, but neither of us uses these.
